Close to the surface

I emailed my teacher last night and asked him to change the absence on Skolplatsen since I definitely wasn't absent for that class. And his response was funny. He added this " By the way, I appreciate your positive attitude and good critical thinking skills in class. It makes learning easier for everyone!". I am glad to hear that I am positive in one subject, because I have NEVER heard that before. I was looking through old teachers' comments a couple of months ago and I definitely saw a clear pattern : be positive!

And what he really means is that I am honest. He always come up to me and ask how much we should read until next time, and then I say x chapters, and he's like no that's to little. So he adds a couple of pages/chapters. Then he goes to the rest of the class and in the end he changes his mind to what I suggested since no one wanted to read that much. I mean I don't have a problem doing to homework. But I am sure as hell not going to ask him to give me a lot of homework when I know that everyone won't do it. It's just stupid. And I've told him that as well. However I don't see the positive side of me in any of this xD
